ResoCoat™ F-010 – Flame Resistance
ResoCoat™ F-010 – Flame Resistance is a high performance and tough powder coating that offers higher levels of fire protection, lower maintenance obligations and enhanced long-term performance for steel and other substrates. It can be used for various applications, both indoors and outdoors and is suitable for a wide range of surfaces such as timber, steel, aluminium, fibreglass and other substrates.
All ordinarily handled construction and engineering materials suffer heavy wear and tear when exposed to high temperatures. In some severe instances, steel may also bend and collapse in just a few minutes. In the event of a fire, ResoCoat™ F-010 – Flame Resistance coating expands to produce a protective layer of carbon char. This wraps the steel underneath, allowing it to maintain its pressure bearing potential for hours and providing people time to evacuate.
ResoCoat™ F-010 – Flame Resistance can retain the properties of substrates unaltered even at greater temperatures and ensure enhanced safety with every application. ResoCoat™ F-010 – Flame Resistance is also remarkably simple to apply and can be coated on top of existing paint for added convenience.
